How accurate is this clock?
Most clocks on websites simply copy the time from your device, so if your computer or phone is running fast or slow, they show the wrong time too. ClockNow compares your device with our server time when the page loads. If your device is off by more than about a second, we tell you how far off it is and show the corrected time.
Time around the world
The world clock shows the current time in some of the most-searched cities, how many hours ahead or behind they are from you, and whether it is already tomorrow or still yesterday there. Daylight saving time changes are handled automatically.
Frequently asked questions
Will the alarm ring if I close the page?
No. Keep the ClockNow tab open and your volume up. If your device goes to sleep, the browser may pause the page, so plug in your laptop or phone for long alarms.
Does the timer keep running in a background tab?
Yes. The timer counts down to a fixed end time, so it stays accurate even if you switch tabs.
Is ClockNow free?
Yes, every tool on ClockNow is free to use, with no sign-up.
Do you store my location?
Only if you tap the location button, and then it is saved in your own browser to show local weather. It is not stored on our servers.
